What is Psychological capital? Objectives and Initiatives

According to Fred Luthans, 2006. Psychological capital or PsyCap defined as "an individual's positive psychological state of development".

 Psychological capital is the tool to overcome our many obstacles. it also predominately used in organization. The psychological capital is also called as "PSYCAP"Moreover, it develops the employees attitude, behavior and performance, creativity, problem solving, innovation and create positive impact in work-family conflict. To develop positive situation for personal development 4 major features are used are:     

H- Hope ( Being full of determination).

E- Self- Efficacy (Dealing with challenges).

R- Resilience (Accomplishment Inspite of the obstacles).

O- Optimism (Positive expectations for future success).

These capital has positive impact on sustainable competatives. It reduces negative influences in an organization.

Objectives:

  • Mechanism ideas through impacts performance and other outcomes and how to escalate level of analysis and application.

  • Linking psycap to other organisation "intangible" resources as teamwork, climate, culture and leadership.

  • Offering lessons to enhance well-being of individual, teams, units, organization, communities and countries.
